There are five cottages to choose from. We have two individual cottages each in their own walled gardens and a private terrace, and three adjoining cottages with their own private terraces which face west and have fantastic sunsets, facing onto a large lawn. They share a heated tiled pool measuring ten by five metres, with proper Roman steps giving easy access, especially for children and older people.The pool is walled with a safety gate, and is a real sun trap and very secluded. There is a play area for smaller children ( in its own gated area ), and table tennis for older children and adults.We are located in Louzignac, a wine producing village just fifteen minutes drive from Cognac, and five minutes from the local market town of Matha. The local boulangerie delivers bread and croissants fresh every morning. There is enclose off street parking inside the vineyard. The vineyard has large iron gates which we keep closed - to prevent little wanderers from wandering off.The vineyard is a large area with mature trees, shady places, where you can be secluded on your own, or mix with others, the choice is yours. Louzignac is a rural quiet village, with vey little traffic, with lovely walks in every direction. The area , being the last department before the sea, is very gentle rolling countryside, ideal for bringing your bikes, and the whole family can ride off together. With rural tranquility , surrounded by vineyards,sunflowers,historic villages.
